Canon
not to hate on SS but i want to know what you guys think about this. ive always figured it was KM's, Myas, Nakhla, tangiers and starbuzz that would define the hookah industry..http://www.pr.com/press-release/146851
cotsi95
Im pretty sure ive seen all gold (brass) stems before lol (km anyone) and all black ones as well (ebony tower). Besides they will probably suck as much as the rest of there hookah line.
Santino
I'll be honest, I'm going to be really surprised if anyone votes yes. REALLY surprised. In fact, I think more realistically they lowered the bar for the hookah industry.. two words, hookah-hookah.

inino
what do they mean continues? did they ever define the hookah industry, I mean Ive never heard of them before this forum, then I go and see those shitty videos. The only sites I knew about before the forum was HS and HC. also their vases are very bad, functionally and visually. just my opinion though and I know they are a good vendor here but sometimes people push the limit. Johnny_D
I rather think nahkla defined the modern hookah industry. I am lead to believe they were the first to offer flavoured tobacco somewhere in the 80's ?,JD
Canon
thats what i heard. i read somewhere that the government (cant remember which) payed nahkla to make flavored tobacco to smoke out of hookahs to get people away from cigs.

Thermo
-1 to SS for lame advertising gimmick. Just stick to 'discount codes,' video 'contests' and forum whoring like the rest of the industry.

liquidglass
The only reason SS gets as much PR as they do is as a result of their hookahs being bought and used for movies from what i heard a while back. If they define the hookah industry I no longer want to be a hookah (artist) smoker.

Scalliwag
I think Eric has had much more an impact with his phunnel bowl and unique shisha. Maybe Sahara has done some things extremely unique in the past I don't know about but nothing I know of. Eric would get my vote for innovation of the decade that has done more to define the industry than anyone. Is Sahara Smoke the one that has the really cute girl on Youtube vids? If so they're marketing geniuses!
BBKakes
That Saraha Smoke "Press Release" is so dillusional its not even funny. I don't know a single person that likes thier Ayam Zaman line. Anyone that knows anything about hookah would never actually buy a hookah from them. I never see them actively participate in any of the forums out there, they try to buy new users with crapping thier product out via contests and giveaways non stop. They have been on other websites forever, yet haven't even broken 200 posts? WoW... just... wow.. Edited May 3, 2009 by BBKakes
